Small repairs are covered through your Core budget, while major repairs come from your Capital Assistive Technology budget. We also support you in setting up clear repair agreements and backup plans for essential devices.

When you need repairs, Tassie Care will guide you through contacting your AT repair provider or help you find a registered provider via the myPlace portal or local coordinators. Depending on your NDIS plan management type, we assist with arranging payments, service bookings, and claims to ensure your repairs are handled smoothly. For repairs above certain cost limits, prior approval may be needed. If your assistive technology requires replacement due to damage, safety concerns, or outgrowing, Tassie Care supports you in accessing the necessary funding, often without a full reassessment when replacing like-for-like. Should your current plan funds be insufficient, we can help request a plan review to secure additional support for your AT needs.
